to 1610 within the "Provisions Communitarian " of the city of Krakow (as reported by Leo Rosten in his "The joys Yiddish ") which refers to "bajgiel" data in tribute to women at the delivery. The ring shape symbolized fact
the cycle of life and represented a wish for good luck.
